In May of 2013, I moved to Mississippi (my first time in the state) to become a member of the Mississippi Teacher Corps. In the nearly two years since, I have served as a high school teacher at Meridian High School in Meridian, MS, as well as a graduate student at the University of Mississippi pursuing a Master of Arts.
This website has been created as the final project for that Master's degree: a portfolio demonstrating my experience and growth as a teacher in a high needs school in Mississippi. Everything documented here shows but a small picture of the highs and lows, successes and failures, and laughter and tears I have experienced. Welcome! I hope you enjoy this glimpse into my life for the past two years. |
